"Razor's" dancing draws ire of Mother Emery

The smile was contagious. Seeing controversial Ottawa goalie Ray Emery shed the mitts for tilts with Goalie Martin Biron and tough guy Andrew Peters, all the while smiling like a fat kid with cake was something to see. Never have hockey fans seen a player in the midst of a nasty brawl have so much fun. 'Razor' won the hearts and the appreciation of hockey fans across the country with his dance moves...all except a certain person of authority back home...

"Yeah I enjoy that kind of thing, but ya know mom got mad, she didn't like it too much"

The wrath of the momma, that's a no-no. One with more influence than a team full of Bob Proberts, mother can take the nastiest of all competitors and put them into a state so soft they would make European hockey players look like goons. Not buying it?

What makes a bunch of uncontrollable goons/ Goalies out for a little fun kneel down to a lil ol' mother whose parenting wore thin a long time ago?

The melee all started with a Chris Neil check on Buffalo forward Chris Drury, a check that kind of resembled the opinion of stoners on certain catastrophic drugs.

"It's a hard one, but it's still clean"

Yes folks, as much as Lindy Ruff would like to think there was an elbow, it was not an excuse to send out his top goons against Ottawa's top guns.

On the ensuing facoff the following occured:
Goon#1 after Spezza
Goon#2 after Heatly
Goon #3 after Comrie
Ray Emery after Martin Biron (if you want a comparison on this one, this fight's like a boat with 3 fat guys all sitting in the back....very one sided)
Andrew Peters after Ray Emery (one fat guy just got up and went to the front, it's evened out)
Mother Emery after Ray.

If Neil had any idea what trouble he got his old buddy into he would have reconsidered and opted out of the physical play he's paid to engage in. But most likely he won't, and maybe just maybe....in his career Ray may get another chance to show his stuff. Well Ray....uh...go ahead...

Just make sure Mother isn't checking from behind.
