Laval Red and Whites---beautiful name isn't it?(Rouge Et Or) vs. Sass catch Eh One Huskies

This french cuisine up for fine dining?
  • Expect nothing but the best from 2 flawless teams tomorrow afternoon in CIS Mitchell Bowl

Ok folks the time has come hmhm (clears throat) the stage is now set for one of the possibly greatest games in University Football History.... Who? Who did you ask? Oh you can't speak french, ok let me translate..

The stage is set for tomorrow's game between the Saskatchewan Huskies (were they ever considered scary dogs?, not really) vs. the Laval Red and Whites (otherwise known as the Laval ROUGE eh? OOOR) snicker snicker, right here one thing is proven....the team makes the name....the name does not make the team.

Flawless teams do not make flawless names as the Laval French Guys (10-0) clash (tough word, no?) against the Saskatchewan Farmer Boys (10-0). 2 teams looking a blemish (also called a freckle, pimple or zit) in the eye and licking out of the same bowl (The Mitchell Bowl) in the process.

The Huskies showcase SB rookie Henry McScott (better known as Scott McHenry) to pluck the pigskin out of the counterpart Dbs. If the huskies have a shot, he must come through as he has done in past games. His magnet like hands have earned him rookie of the year honours in Canada West and he continues to shine throughout. David Stevens is another key. 190 yards rushing appears to be what the doctor is prescribing today if the huskies are going to rack up points, taking less pressure off of the D. Lastly the fan base has to come through. Revenge is the word coming out of the mouths of every loyal fan in Hub City as they eagerly await this battle of the titans...make noise, make noise and make noise are the three things to be done by the fans tomorrow afternoon.

A balanced huskie team in a tight conference vs. a highly touted Laval team (don't even utter that word Dynasty) looking for a challenge....

consider that challenge met.

Huskies 22 Rouge Et Or 19
